Easy Guys,

Just a heads up! Pdex and Retropekt have been busy, and we've got a few new tasty bits for you....!

First up we've got a couple new tunes, Feelings Creep comes from Pdex, a deep dark stepper with loads of atmosphere and spooked out vocals.

Retrospekt brings a happier vibe, with his cheeky bootleg remix of Röyksopp's 'Remind Me'. It's up for free download so click the down arrow on the right hand side of the player.

We've also a mix from Pdex, showing his skills across the board with a mini-mix of some classic D&B anthems, complete with a killer hip-hop/scratch intro. Check after the break for the tracklist.

In The Fade Records In Session: Pdex

Hey there,

For those of you who don't know, we've recently been filming with our good friends Alex, Nathan and Jack of Stand Your Ground Media. We first met these guys at the Enter Shikari Xmas Party at The Forum, Hatfield , and since then we've been discussing various projects and ideas to collaborate with them.

So the time finally came to film with these guys, and amongst other things (that will be revealed later this summer), we decided to film the first in a new series of In The Fade Records In Session videos. The basic idea being a series of videos that feature interview with an In The Fade Records artist, alongside a live mix that will showcase the artists talent as well as future releases.

So who better to kick things off than co-founder, Pdex.

And for those of you interested in watching the full 11 minute mix, undisturbed by Pdex's tales of wisdom, as an exclusive to the blog you can check it out here:

This is something you can come to expect from the blog, whether it be extended versions of videos, behind the scenes footage and photos, exclusive clips and downloads of forthcoming releases or just more in-depth info about what it is we actually do. I highly recommend subscribing, RSS feeding or regularly checking the blog so you don't miss out. Pdex (and future artists) will be contributing posts and we'll try and make it a regular thing.

Just want to finish off with a big thank you to the guys of Stand Your Ground Media, really great, talented, professional, mountain dew addicted guys who are certain to go a long way in the media industry. If you need any video and audio work done I highly recommend hitting them up at www.standyourgroundmedia.com.

Here's a few snaps the boys took during filming:

Peace.

New Blog!

Hey there,

So I guess this is the start of the In The Fade Records blog. Here you'll find news, updates, info on releases and general goings on with the label and the artists behind it!

But before we start telling you about what we're currently and/or going to be doing, we should probably let you know what it is we've already done.

In The Fade Records was launched to coincide with, co-founder, Pdex's debut release. It came in the form of the Colours In Sound Vol.1 EP.

The release had a limited physical run, which to our great surprise sold out within days of release. We were excited to be sending out copies of the CD across the world, from California to Prague and everywhere in between. This was despite the EP always being planned for free legal download! There is still hope for the music industry!

You can download the EP here:

A short promo vid has been produced for one of the tracks, which can be seen here.

Straight after the overwhelming response to the first release, we've hit the studio and began work on our second. This will be a 2 track digital release, featuring a track from Pdex alongside my own debut track under my artist name Retrospekt. It is planned to be available on the majority of good download websites, including iTunes.

So, keep locked in to the blog if you'd like to stay up to date on what we're cooking. You can also follow us on a whole bunch of other social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Myspace!

Take it easy,
Matt

P.S
We're always happy to hear new music! If you have a demo or a track you'd like us to listen to, please send it to our dropbox on Soundcloud!
